Although the Berlin Music Video Awards* has reached its 5th edition, this has been my second year of collaboration with the annual festival dedicated to the art behind music videos. Nevertheless, just as last year, I have had the pleasure of interviewing many artists, filmmakers, directors and producers, while sharing ideas and impressions on a growing genre that never fails to impress and amaze. The event has been very well-attended, not only from locals, but also from the international crème de la crème of music videos production. Among others, I have had the pleasure to interview the New York-based rapper Hila the Killa, attentive to gender equality's issues, the Italian performer Candida Kandiskij and Berlin's craziest film editor Rob Myers.
This year I have conducted interviews for the freshly released videomag NTRPY, another collaboration I am proud of.
The four days of the festival have been intense, but extremely fun. What should I say more? See you next year BMVA!
(Meanwhile, you can watch the highlights video of the event. Shortly interviews will be published.)
